Tomas began to play drums & percussion at early age of 4 with pots, pans and toothbrushes at his parents house in Querataro, Mexico and he started playing with real drum kits at music schools since he was 6. At age of 9 he got his first drum kit and started playing Rush, Metallica, Marillion and Genesis covers.

In 2003 he & his best friend founded heavy metal band Split Heaven. Six years later after many demos recorded, playing live in Mexico, and releasing the first album; Split Heaven became the first Mexican band ever to perform at the mighty Wacken Open Air in Germany.

In 2009, Tomas got endorsed by Meinl Cymbals thanks to mexican distributor œGonher and the German company; the same year he got the Evans & Vic Firth endorsements directly from the US. On 2016 he got endorsed by Natal Drums and on 2018 by Axis Percussion. The history is still being written!
