One of the most thrilling and memorable moments in my career was playing drum set with the Israel Philharmonic in a concert conducted by TV and film composer Lalo Shifrin. Playing the theme to Mission Impossible with a symphony orchestra synthesized many of the skills that I have worked on throughout my career.

Being exposed to different music and musicians from all over the world is a constant source of inspiration and creativity. Great drummers from the past and the present also provide motivation for growth and innovation.

For me it's all about the sticks. The Vic Firth company led by its legendary namesake (who I had the privilege to meet) revolutionized the drumstick industry by creating a superior product whose quality has not diminished through the years.
