Dukwon Seo | Vic Firth Drum Set Artist

Dukwon Seo is one of Korea's leading jazz drummers. He has performed extensively since the mid-1990s with many jazz bands and participated in myriad recordings and live sessions. In 2004, Seo formed his own jazz trio named Gentle Rain. Gentle Rain has released five albums, with Seo participating as drummer, composer, arranger and producer. He currently teaches drums and rhythm reading in jazz departments at various universities around Korea. His rhythm text book, "Jazz Rhythm" was published in 2014.
